The positive high contrast resist MiR 701 enables the PicoMaster to create features well bellow the specified resolution of 300nm. In the sample the lines where exposed with optimized step resolution, to match the address grid of 200nm.

Front Side Alignment – Overlay features

The PicoMaster system support Front Side Alignment (FSA) by means of a 5.2MP monochrome camera, a 560nm illumination source and automatic marker recognition through machine vision software (MVS) built into the compact optical module. Each pixel on the camera sensor measures an area of 1µm. The MVS interpolates the measured data approx. 10 times resulting in a measuring resolution of approx. 100nm.

Project manager tool

Project manager is a dedicated user-friendly tool for combining images from several sources and giving each image a different effect. Each image within the total design can have transparent parts, be scaled, rotated and ordered in front of or behind other images. The design software also allows the user to add some build in effects for which no source image is required, such as Fresnel lenses, backgrounds, etc.

User libraries

The PicoMaster software supports user libraries. These libraries can be written in C# or VB.net. With them a user can create own algorithms to calculate the laser intensity at each grid point. This allows the user to generate its own proprietary unique effects.
